From "business continuity" to "operational resilience"

Following the recent disruptive events (Covid, conflicts in Ukraine, energy crisis), the resilience of banking institutions becoming central in the discussions. In parallel to that, regulators around the world further develop and strengthen operational resilience requirements. It is becoming crucial to shift from a reactive and targeted approach (continuity) to a proactive and cross-functional approach (resilience). In other words, it is the whole value chain rather than isolated events that organizations must consider responding to more and more frequent operational risks, with increasing regulation being one of them.
Following our comparative analysis on the evolution of regulations, we will present you the first results of the approach our institution has taken in the operational resilience area.
