The annual conference of the ISACA Switzerland Chapter and the IIA Switzerland, themed "Human Factor in Information Security," emphasizes the importance of the human factor in defending against cyberattacks and minimizing insider threats.
The focus will be on awareness, corporate and communication culture, and psychological aspects, rather than technical security mechanisms. The conference will also address the current threat landscape and methods for measuring human behavior, concluding with tips on communication and motivation strategies.Experts will guide the discussions following the opening speech by Milena Thalmann. The event will be moderated by Florian Deumeland and will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Restaurant Metropol in Zurich or online via livestream. On-site participants are invited to a reception afterward.
