ISACA Euro CACS 2020 – Switzerland Chapter Social Event on Thursday 29th of October

This year's ISACA EuroCACS and CSX conference will be held as a virtual event from 28-30 October 2020. Although the conference will provide virtual networking opportunities, some may miss the personal interaction. Therefore, the ISACA Switzerland Chapter will organise a personal networking event including dinner during the EuroCACS conference - for EuroCACS participants as well as for all other interested ISACA members. This dinner and networking will take place on Thursday 29 October 2020 at a central location in Zurich and will start at 19:00. Further details will be announced to registered members prior to the event.

After Hours Seminar 7|20 from 1 December 2020

This after-hours seminar is carried out as a pure online event. Due to internal requirements of IBM (Switzerland) AG, we are not able to hold the event as a face-to-face event as planned.

Several experts from IBM (Switzerland) AG and PriceWaterhousCoopers (PwC) will give us an insight into different areas of blockchain technology. The following aspects will be highlighted.

- General overview and specifications Public and Private Blockchain
- Blockchain Security (Cryptography and Consensus in the Private and Public Blockchain)
- Blockchain applications with the focus on private blockchain applications
- Blockchain audit with focus on the public blockchain

ISACA Chapter Awards 2020

Once a year, ISACA Global presents the ISACA Chapter Awards to recognize those who have shown exemplary commitment to advancing the goals of ISACA through volunteer services and membership activities.

We are very proud that Daniela Gschwend, our past president of the ISACA Switzerland Chapter, has received the "Outstanding Chapter Leader Award 2020 (Very Large Chapter)". She has done incredible work for the ISACA Switzerland Chapter and the ISACA community at large by showing great leadership and exceptional commitment over the past 20 years.

IT-GRC Congress of the ISACA Germany Chapter 8 and 9 December 2020 in Heidelberg
